Receiving to play out, quick reactions to travel and block


Description

In this session we are focusing on receiving to play out and quick reactions to travel and block. The drill begins with the player moving off the cone to receive and play forward. The player then transitions to travel across goal and block a shot. The player should receive the ball on the back foot and touch into space and also ensure they clear the ball away from the middle of the pitch. Each set should consist of 4 - 6 reps and should be completed at least three times.
