Weave through to head, transition to intercept and receive


Description

In this session we are focusing on a weaving through to head, transition to intercept and receive. The drill begins with the player weaving through the cones and then attacking the ball to head clear. The player then steps up to intercept a ball thrown to the feet before then scanning to drop, receive and play. The player should time their jump to be able to meet the ball and get height and distance on the header. Each set should consist of 4 - 6 reps and should be completed at least three times.
