Intercepting Short & Long


Description

In this session we are focusing on our players movement to intercept the ball. The drill begins with the player moving through the poles/cones to travel to one of the forward poles. They look to step infront of the pole to intercept the ball. Instantly, the player drops back to one of the deeper poles to either win a header, or intercept a bouncing ball, before returning to the middle to repeat. The drill should be completed for 30-60 seconds, and at least three times.
