Transition to close down and jockey, react to retrieve the ball
Description
In this session we are focusing on transition to close down and jockey and reacting to retrieve the ball. The drill begins with the coach passing to the player who opens out and plays back to the coach. The player then closes the coach down to then jockey. The focus is on the body shape and our distances. The player will continue to jockey until the coach rolls the ball into space for the player to react and retrieve the loose ball. Each set should consist of 2 - 4 reps and should be completed at least three times.
