Receive to play, transition to head and drop to block


Description

In this session we are focusing on receiving to play, transition to head and drop to block. The drill begins with the coach passing to the player who opens out to play back to the coach. The player then steps up to the cone ahead before dropping off to head clear. The player then moves quickly to block the pass with the coach looking to knock the ball off the cone with the pass. Each set should consist of 4 - 6 reps and should be completed at least three times.
