Jockey and body shape, step up to receive and play forward
Description
In this session we are focusing on jockeying and body shape, step up to receive and play forward. The drill begins with the coach throwing the ball into the players feet/chest/head to intercept/control and play back to the coach. When the coach shouts a number of a cone, the player looks to react to jockey to the cone and then step back up to receive the ball and play forward. The players body shape should enable them to see the ball whilst showing to the outside. Each set should consist of 4 - 6 reps and should be completed at least three times.
