Travel quick to block, move round to attack and head clear


Description

In this session we are focusing on travelling quick to block, move round to attack and head clear. The drill begins with the player moving through the agility ladder before then moving across the goal to block a shot. The player then looks to drop and move round the cone to move up and attack the ball thrown in the air to head clear. The player should ensure that they stay light on their feet when moving across the goal and don’t and stretch to clear. The player should also head the ball high and away from danger. Each set should consist of 2 - 4 reps and should be completed at least two times each side.
