Drop to head clear, react to narrow angle to block
Description
In this session we are focusing on dropping to head clear, react to narrow angle to block. The drill begins with player 1 stepping to the mannequin/pole before then dropping to head the ball clear which the coach looks to throw over the player. The player then reacts to narrow the angle for player 2’s shot towards goal. The player should step forward and across and should head away from goal. Each set should consist of 3 - 5 reps and should be completed at least two times each side per player.
