Intercept to move quickly to travel across and block
Description
In this session we are focusing on intercepting to move quickly to travel across and block. The drill begins with the coach throwing a ball to the player for them to intercept by playing back into the coaches hand. The player then reacts quickly to move through the agility ladder to then move to one of the wide cones. Once the player has moved to the wide cone the coach then looks to pass/throw the ball towards the opposite corner for the player to travel quickly to block. The player should adapt the body shape once they move out of the ladder to be able to see the ball. Each set should consist of 3 - 5 reps and should be completed at least three times.
