Quick feet to intercept and travel to deal with aerial ball
Description
In this session we are focusing on quick feet to intercept and travel to deal with aerial ball. The drill begins with the coach throwing the ball to the players feet in the air for them to intercept. The player then shuffles through the cones to intercept again before backpedaling towards the pole/mannequin. The coach then throws the ball up for the player to either control and play or head clear. The player should be side on when travelling backwards and stay light on their feet. Each set should consist of 4 - 6 reps and should be completed at least three times.
