Step up and drop to attack header, move quick to block


Description

In this session we are focusing on stepping up and drop to attack header, move quick to block. The drill begins with the player stepping out to one of the cones. The player then looks to transition to back pedal to then attack the ball thrown in the air. The player then looks to move quickly to get in front of the goal to block the shot. The player should ensure that they head the ball away with height and clear the ball away from the middle. Each set should consist of 2 - 4 reps and should be completed at least two times per player.
