Open out to play forward and react step out and attack the ball
Description
In this session we are focusing on opening out to play forward and react step out and attack the ball. The drill begins with the coach passing to the player who looks to open out to play forward. The player then looks to react to step up quickly and attack the ball thrown in the air. The player should look to control the ball on the back foot and when heading the ball look to push through with the contact and get height on the header. Each set should consist of 3 - 5 reps and should be completed at least two times each side.
