Quick feet to step out, intercept and shuffle
Description
In this session we are focusing on quick feet to step out, intercept and shuffle. The drill begins with the player moving up and back through the cones before stepping out to the cone ahead. As the player reaches the cone the coach throws the ball for the player to intercept and then shuffle across to the opposite side to intercept again. The player then back pedals to drop and repeat. The player should stay light on their feet and retain a low body shape when shuffling. Each set should consist of 4 - 6 reps and should be completed at least two times each side.
