Transition drill focusing on heading, passing and blocking
Description
In this session we are focusing on a transition drill focusing on heading, passing and blocking. The drill begins with the coach throwing the ball in the air for the player to attack and head clear. The player then looks to accelerate to the ball to pass into the goal. Once the player has passed the ball they look move quickly around the cone and then block the shot. The player looks to transition quickly ensuring they are aware of their surroundings at all time. Each set should consist of 2 - 4 reps and should be completed at least three times.
