Receiving to open out and move onto the ball to finish
Description
In this session we are focusing on receiving to open out and move onto the ball to finish. The drill begins with the coach passing to the player who looks to set back and drop to the cone behind to receive and open out to play to the coach. The player then looks to spin off into space to accelerate onto the ball to finish first time. The player should receive the ball on the back foot whilst also making sure they focus on precision finishes. Each set should consist of 4 - 6 reps and should be completed at least three times.
