Moving onto the ball to finish, react to control, set and finish
Description
In this session we are focusing on moving onto the ball to finish, react to control, set and finish. The drill begins with the coach passing to the player either side of the mannequin for the player to set back. After the player sets back for the second time they look to scan and drop to the cone behind where they receive the ball to open out and pass to the coach. The player then moves onto the ball to finish first time. Once the player has shot, they look to move to the opposite side were the coach then throws the ball in the air for the player to control, set back to the coach and then move into the central area to finish. Each set should consist of 4 - 6 reps and should be completed at least two times per side.
