Moving in front of the defender to finish


Description

In this session we are focusing on moving in front of the defender to finish. The drill begins with the coach passing to the player, who looks to set back before moving towards the mannequin. The player looks to move around the back of the mannequin and then in front where the coach then plays the ball into space for the player to move on to and then finish. The player should get their head up as they turn to assess their options and accelerate to finish. Each set should consist of 4 - 6 reps and should be completed at least three times.
