Sharp incisive movements to receive the ball and finish

Description

In this session we are focusing on sharp incisive movements to receive the ball and finish. The drill begins with the player moving towards the ball before pulling off to create space to receive, touch and finish. Once the ball has finished, they look to move to the central area. The coach then passes the ball into the player who sets back first time. This is repeated until the coach shouts a number of a cone for the player to move around and then receive the ball on the run to finish first time. The player then moves out wide again to repeat. The player should ensure that they enable themselves to receive the ball on the back foot to touch into space and ensure when they shoot that they strike through the ball. Each set should consist of 4 - 6 reps and should be completed at least three times.
