Receiving and shifting the ball into space to finish
Description
In this session we are focusing on receiving and shifting the ball into space and finish. The drill begins with the player dropping in short to receive and set back to the coach before moving back to the start point. Once the player receives the ball back off the coach, they have three options. They can take the ball down the line, shift inside and outside, and shift outside and inside. After the player has finished, they look to move back round the highest cone to receive the ball across the body and finish first time. The player should ensure that they keep the touches sharp and shift the ball into space quickly. Each set should consist of 3 -5 reps and should be completed at least two times each side.
