Utilising the space through the middle to score


Description

In this session we are focusing on utilising space in the middle to score. The drill begins with the blue player moving forward to receive and set back to the coach. The player then moves around the cone to receive the ball on the back foot and take into space in the middle of the pitch to finish. Once the player has had their shot. They look to move to repeat on the other side, with the only difference being that the player won’t receive the second pass to feet. Instead, the red player will set the ball into space for the player to move through the middle and onto the ball to finish. Each set should consist of 3 - 5 reps and should be completed at least three times per player.
