Moving onto the ball to touch away from defender and finish

Description

In this session we are focusing on moving onto the ball to touch away from defender and finish. The drill begins with the player moving to the outside of the cone to receive and set back to the coach. The player then looks to check their shoulder and move back towards the mannequin/pole. The coach then passes the ball into the player for them to take the ball and pass back to the coach. Once the player has passed the ball, they look to move around the cone ahead of them and into the middle. As the player moves into the middle, the coach looks to pass the ball into space for the player to meet and touch away from the defender to then finish. The touch should be firm and pushed away from the body to enable the player can move onto the ball. Each set should consist of 4 - 6 reps and should be completed at least three times.
