Touching away from defender to finish and attack the back post
Description
In this session we are focusing on touching the ball away from the defender to finish and attacking the back post. The drill begins with the player moving to receive in the middle of the two cones. The player looks to touch the ball either side of the cone to replicate touching away from a defender to then finish. As soon as the player finishes, they look to react and move around the wide pole to attack a ball at the back post. The players touch should be firm to enable themselves to accelerate quickly and finish. Each set should consist 3 - 6 reps and should be completed at least two times each side.
