Combining to attack the space in behind and finish


Description

In this session we are focusing on combining to attack the space in behind and finish. The drill begins with the red player receiving the ball from the coach and playing across to the blue player. The blue player looks to take the ball forward, whilst the red player makes the movement on the shoulder. As the blue player drives past the mannequin, they look to set the ball back to the red player for them to attack the space in behind and finish. The player should ensure the tempo stays high and their first touch takes them in to space. Each set should consist of 4 - 6 reps and should be completed at least two times per player.
