In this session we are focusing on dribbling out of tight area to attack the goal. The drill begins with the player weaving through the cones/poles, focusing on using both feet and keeping the ball close to the body. As the player moves into space, they look to play into the coach who sets the ball back and closes the player down. The player looks to touch the ball away from coach to attack the goal and finish. The player should ensure that when the ball comes back to them from the coach that they don’t hesitate and that they make a quick decision to make it harder for a defender to react. Each set should consist of 4 - 6 reps and should be completed at least three times.
