Reacting to turn quickly whilst retaining composure to finish

Description

In this session we are focusing on reacting to turn quickly whilst retaining composure to finish. The drill begins with the coach passing into the player who sets back first time, before repeating on the opposite side of the cone/pole. This continues until the coach commands the player to turn when they pass the ball in. The player then looks to react quickly to turn however they like and finish. It’s important that the player stays relaxed and doesn’t over complicate their decision making. Instead, they should look to make the turn sharp, have a glance at goal and then finish. Each set should consist of 5 - 10 reps and should be completed at least three times.
