Quick passes to set the 3rd man runner in behind


Description

In this session we are focusing on quick passes to set the 3rd man runner in behind. The drill begins with the red player moving through the agility ladder. As the player moves through the ladder, the coach plays into the blue player, who sets to the yellow player, who then plays the ball in behind for the red player to move onto and finish. The yellow and blue players rotate each rep, with the red player moving back to the start to repeat. The passes should be firm and players should move away from the cone to receive. Each set should consist of 4 - 6 reps and should be completed at least two times per player each side.
