Taking the ball out of a tight area into space to finish
Description
In this session we are focusing on taking the ball out of tight areas to finish. The drill begins with the player receiving the ball to take across the body and pass back to the coach. The player then moves to the cone on the outside to receive and set back first time and then repeats on the inside. The player then looks to move around to come through the middle of the cones, we’re the coach looks to set the ball for the player to shift it out of a tight area into space and finish. The player should ensure that they react to we’re the ball is and make sure they can use both feet to keep control of the ball. Each set should consist of 4 - 8 reps and should be completed at least three times.
