Shifting into space to finish & reacting to combine & finish
Description
In this session we are focusing on shifting into space to finish and reacting quickly to set, move and finish. The drill begins with the player weaving through the cones/poles to then shift the ball into space to finish. Once the player has shot, they look to move towards the coach to play a 1 - 2, and move away to receive the ball back and finish first time. The player should look to push the ball away from the body when shifting to enable themselves to move onto the, and then look to be precise when finishing first time to keep the ball on target. Each set should consist of 4 - 6 reps and should be completed at least two times each side.
