Moving towards the ball to set and touch away to finish
Description
In this session we are focusing on moving towards the ball to set and move to touch away from the defender to finish. The drill begins with the player moving around the middle cone. As the player moves around the cone, the coach looks to play the ball into the player, who sets back and moves into space to receive the ball again. When the player receives the ball back, they look to touch the ball away from the defender, by taking the ball across the body, or opening out to then finish. The player should look to change their speed when moving around the cone to receive the ball. Each set should consist of 4 - 8 reps and should be completed at least two times each side.
