Receiving the ball to feet to touch into space & finish
Description
In this session we are focusing on receiving the ball to feet to touch into space and finish. The drill begins with fast footwork across the cones. On the coaches instruction the player reacts and moves towards the pole/cone that was instructed. As the player moves around the pole, the coach looks to pass the ball to the players feet, meaning they have to react quickly to receive with the aim to push the ball into space and finish. The player should look to slow down as they turn so that they can adjust to the ball moving towards them quickly. Each set should consist of 6 - 10 reps and should be completed at least three times.
