Setting & moving to spin out & receive in behind to finish

Description

In this session we are focusing on setting and moving to spin off in behind to finish. The drill begins with a sequence of first time passes. The coach plays into the red player, who sets back, before moving on the outside and repeating. The player then moves back central and repeats, and then on the outside again, before setting back and beginning to spin off. The coach then passes to the yellow player who sets the ball inside for the blue player to play in behind, where the red player has moved to attack the space and finish. The players movement is vital. The red player looks to time their run so they don’t move in behind too early. The yellow player looks to move towards the ball to set, and the blue player looks to move inside to meet the ball to play forward. Each set should consist of 4 - 8 reps and should be completed at least two times per player.
