Touch & Finish

Description

In this session we are focusing on finishing using both feet. The player will take six shots per set, using each foot three times. The player will begin on the cone, before sprinting upto the first pole, then turning out to receive and finish. The player will then move upto the next pole and repeat, the only difference being the distance from the goal being further away. After the third finish, the player and coach move to the other side, before repeating on the opposite foot. To progress the drill, the coach can make the first touch more difficult for the player, by bouncing the ball in or throwing it in the air.
