Quick feet to shift the ball into space and finish
Description
In this session we are focusing on the ability to show quick feet to shift the ball into space and finish. The drill begins with the player moving across the agility ladder. As the player moves out of the ladder, the coach plays the ball into the player, who sets back and jumps across to the other side of the pole/cone to receive again. After the player receives the ball again, they look to drive towards the cones, before moving through the cones, either moving out to in, or in to out to create space to finish. The player must ensure that they move quickly with the ball at their feet, but that they are always in control of the ball. Each set should consist of 4 - 8 reps and should be completed at least three times.
