Moving down the line of the ball to finish first time
Description
In this session we are focusing on moving down the line of the ball to finish first time. The drill begins with the coach passing the ball to the player, who plays back first time. The player then moves to the touch the pole/cone infront of them, before transitioning to move back and around the pole they started at. As the player moves around the pole, the coach looks to set the ball into space for the player to move onto and finish first time into either corner. The drill is completed on both the left and right side to work on using both feet. The player should look to place the ball and be precise over power to increase their chances of putting the ball in the corner. Each set should consist of 4 - 6 reps and should be completed at least three times each side.
