Touch across body to finish


Description

In this session we are focusing on taking the ball into space to finish. The drill begins with the player moving towards the central pole/cone. Once the player reaches the pole, they then move out to either wide pole before receiving a pass from the coach to set back first time. After setting the ball back, the player then moves inside the pole to receive again. The player then looks to touch the ball across the middle pole, whilst moving around the opposite side to enable themselves to move onto the ball, creating a better angle to finish. Each set should consist of 4 - 8 reps, and should be completed at least three times.
