Quick movement to Attack

Description

In this session we are focusing on quick movements to receive and finish. The drill begins with the player starting on the central pole/cone, with the coach commanding two poles to travel to (using numbers). The player moves towards the first pole, before moving quickly to the second pole were they will then receive the ball from the coach. This may mean that the player receives the ball short to drive into space and finish. Or, they may receive whilst moving into space in behind to finish more instinctively. The player returns to the central pole after every finish. We are looking for the player to move quickly, but also ensuring that they have created space to receive the ball, so not moving too close to the poles when looking to receive. Each set should consist of 4 - 6 finishes, and should be completed at least three times.
