Scanning and assessing to move, receive and finish


Description

In this session we are focusing on scanning and assessing to move, receive and finish. The drill begins with the coach passing to the player who sets back on either side of the cone/pole. The player moves when the coach shouts ‘GO’. The players scans and then moves to any of the cones/poles to receive the ball, touch out of their feet and finish. The players body shape should be open when receiving the ball. Each set should consist of 4 - 6 reps and should be completed at least three times.
