3 Phase finishing: Receiving skills and composure to finish
Description
In this session we are focusing on a three phase finishing practice focusing on receiving skills and composure to finish. The drill begins with the player peeling off the pole/mannequin inside to receive, touch out their feet and finish. The player then gets back onside by moving ahead of the mannequin. The coach then throws the ball in the air into space for the player to control and then finish. Finally, the player then moves round the cone to attack a ball played from out wide from the coach. The player looks to remain composed and not snatch at any of the finishes. Each set should consist of two reps and should be completed at least three times each side.
