Set, weave through, touch forward and finish


Description

In this session we are focusing on setting, weave through, touch forward and finish. The drill begins with the coach passing the ball to the player who sets back first time. The player moves up and back through the cones to then move out to receive the ball played into their feet. The player looks to take their momentum to touch the ball forward and finish. The player should ensure the touch is pushed away from the body to run onto the ball and finish. Each set should consist of 4 - 6 reps and should be completed at least two times each side.
