3 finish circuit: Heading, cut back and touch and finish
Description
In this practice we are focusing on a three finish circuit: Heading, cut back and touch and finish. The drill begins with a double movement with the player moving towards the outside cone then dropping the shoulder to move forward and attack the ball thrown in the air and head. The player then moves round the outside cone to move onto the ball cut back across the goal to finish first time. The player then moves in between the two cones to receive the ball and touch through the middle to finish. The player should head the ball down as it makes it harder for the goalkeeper to get down and save and when finishing the cut back make sure they don’t lean back and always follow through the ball. Each set be completed two times round and completed at least two times per side.
