Setting to Move Across & Finish

Description

In this session, we are focusing on our players ability to set and move into space before receiving and finishing. The drills starts with the player moving towards to central pole/cone, to receive and set the ball back to the coach, and then moving across towards the opposite side. Once the player has moved to create space, the coach then looks to play the ball into the players feet, or infront of the player to run onto. The player should look to finish quickly, moving with the ball at pace, before finishing in the corners. The player then starts on the opposite side to continue the drill. The coach should reiterate to the player about timing their runs and creating space to receive. Each set should contain 4 - 8 reps, and should be completed at least three times.
