Receiving on the half turn and moving down the line to finish


Description

In this session we are focusing on receiving on the half turn and moving down the line to finish. The drill begins with the player dropping in to receive the ball on the half turn to touch away and then finish. The player then moves through the two cones to move onto a ball slid down the side to finish first time. The players body shape will enable them to take the ball on the half turn and push into space to finish. They should stay low and let the ball come across the body before taking the touch. Each set should consist of 4 - 6 reps and should be completed at least two times per side.
