Decision making to receive and take the ball in behind


Description

In this session we are focusing on our decision making to receive and take the ball in behind. The drill begins with the player moving to receive the ball off the coach. The player can peel off a cone or stay in front to pin and then spin in behind to finish. The coach moves to a different ball each time and the player moves to receive in relation to where the ball is. The players body shape is important to be able to touch the ball into space. Each set should consist of 4 - 6 reps and should be completed at least two times from each side.
