Sharp Movement to Receive
Description
In this session we are focusing on our players ability to finish from different areas in the final third. The drill begins with the coach playing a 1-2 with the the player in the middle. The player then looks to move either in behind, or receive deeper and drive into space to finish. The player takes ownership of their movement and the coach adapts to it. If the player receives in behind they should look to finish within two touches. If the player receives deeper, they should attack the space quickly before finishing. Each set should include 4-6 reps and should be completed at least three times.
