Positive first touch forward into space to finish
Description
In this session we are focusing on a positive first touch forward into space to finish. The drill begins with the coach passing to the player who peels off the cone to receive and touch forward and finish. The player then drops in to the pole/mannequin to receive and take either side to finish. The player then receives the ball again but this time the ball is bounced into them to test their first touch. The player should adjust their body shape when receiving the ball to enable themselves to take the touch forward. Each set should consist of 2 - 3 reps and should be completed at least two times per side.
