Movement to attack varied deliveries into the box


Description

In this session we are focusing on our movement to attack varied deliveries into the box. The drill begins with the player pulling off the deeper cone to attack the ball from the back post. The player then moves back in to do a double movement, faking to go near post to then peel off to attack the ball from a central position. The coach will vary the delivery with balls across the floor, bouncing in and in the air. Each set should consist of 3 - 6 reps and should be completed at least two times each side.
