Positive first touch to finish, time run in behind to finish
Description
In this session we are focusing on a positive first touch to finish, time run in behind to finish. The drill begins with the coach passing to the player who looks to take a touch into space and away from a defender to finish. The player then drops back in to set and move round to time a run in behind to run onto the ball and finish. The players first touch should be on an angle to move onto the ball and not have to adapt their body shape. Each set should consist of 3 - 5 reps and should be completed at least two times each side.
