Dealing with difficult and aerial balls in the final 3rd
Description
In this session we are focusing on dealing with difficult and aerial balls in the final 3rd. The drill begins with the coach bouncing the ball into the player who looks to control and take into space to finish. The player then moves round the back of the cone to attack the ball in the air and head. The player then moves back round the cone and looks to finish a ball cut back first time. When finishing the cut back, the player should look to stay low and use the pace on the ball to guide into the corner. Each set should consist of 2 - 4 reps and should be completed at least two times each side.
