Movement to get away from the defender to attack the cross
Description
In this session we are focusing on movement to get away from the defender to attack the cross. The drill begins with the coach shouting one of the colours. The players then move to that colour and then spin off in a different direction to attack the cross. The player should stay composed and time their run to meet the ball. With the ball coming in at pace the player should focus on technique over power. Each set should consist of 4 - 6 reps and should be completed at least two times each side.
