Receiving skills to touch and finish and finish first time


Description

In this session we are focusing on receiving skills to touch and finish and finish first time. The drill begins with the coach passing to player 1 who looks to open out and finish. Player 1 then moves back to the cone/mannequin to receive from player 2 to open out on the opposite foot to finish. The player then reacts quickly to move and finish the loose ball played by the coach. The player should adapt their body shape to receive on the back foot. Each set should consist of 2 reps and should be completed at least two times each side per player.
